| Male Therapists' Group
As male therapists, we need a place to bring our own unique concerns, where we can at last settle into being nurtured ourselves. Able to set aside the need to be there for others, we can relax into a genuine interchange that allows us to explore, in safety, our concerns and ponderings. Through stories, poetry, discussion, and spirited engagement, we will address our own particular needs and experiences, leading us to discover our true, deep stories.

Tom McGee, L.C.S.W. has been a practicing therapist for thirty years. He has been in private practice since 1991. He has led men's groups and retreats since 1993. His work has brought him to help many men and many therapists find their ways through difficult transitions, dilemmas, and movement toward personal growth. CONTINUING EDUCATION FOR MFTs and LCSWs:
This course meets the qualifications for 2 hours per session of continuing education credit for MFTs and LCSWs as required by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences.
In this training you will learn through participation, observation, and instruction:
· Understanding power and vulnerability in men
· Group facilitation methods that elicit emotional responses in men
· Use of dream work in a group setting
· Facilitating truth-telling without blame or judgment
. Understanding group process as it relates to men
. Use of poetry, music, and other arts in group

CANCELLATION POLICY: Group fees will be paid on a month-to-month basis at the beginning of each month. Once fees are paid, there will be no refund except under extraordinary circumstances.
